Our Impact

Making a positive impact is the core belief to all that we do.

Often our direct support programs (being Mentoring, Tutoring or coding for children on the spectrum) is enough, however when it isn’t we need to step in and provide what ever is needed to address that child’s needs.

That’s when our early intervention and intensive family supports kick in. When we find a child whose needs extend beyond the scope of one of our programs to address we collaborate with others in the community to ensure that those needs are met. Often the biggest hurdle that we face is not insecurely the child but the family situation in the background. When we are confronted by this situation then we engage with the family to address the issues that are impacting their ability to support their child.

Often we find that we need to provide intensive family supports initially before we can bring children into our structured programs as bringing children into the programs without addressing some of the underlying issues would only set that child up for failure. As a result, everything we do is directed to ensuring that a child has the tools or supports needed to reach their full potential.
