Connect Kids is striving towards putting an end to inter-generational disadvantaged within our communities.

In many households across the Sunshine Coast there are children that miss out on the things that many other children take for granted.  Living in a safe and caring home, being able to partake in activities which other children do on a daily basis, that are crucial to their future development Connect Kids run a broad based mentoring program to help bring these children  those crucial elements to their lives. The program strives to not only give individual children from vulnerable backgrounds a chance for a better life but it strives to tackle inter-generational disadvantage across entire communities.

Ultimately, we expect that the program will be self funding however right now we need the funds necessary to move from the pilot program phase to a full roll out across the Sunny Coast and environs. We expect to engage at least 500 children in the program just on the Sunny Coast alone.

We are challenging 100 businesses across the region to donate $1000 to kick this off. All donations are Tax Deductible
When you consider that the cost to society of housing one child in juvenile detention is over $200,000 that is not a great deal of money.
